The Jeffersonville, IN Downtown WWTP Improvement Project is an existing plant upgrade to increase the current plant’s capacity by 25 MGD during wet weather conditions. The project work includes modifying the existing headworks junction box, the addition of a chemically enhanced high rate clarify system and a new UV system.  Other enhancements include a new chemical building, a new electrical building, modifications to the effluent flow metering structure, multiple deep manhole structures, site piping, and numerous deep well dewatering pumps.
