Project Feature – Little Miami Standby Power

The Little Miami Standby Power project is an upgrade to the wastewater treatment plant’s existing electrical infrastructure located in the East End neighborhood of Cincinnati, OH. The 3,900 SF multi-story concrete and masonry building will become the main power distribution center for the plant centralizing the electrical equipment that is currently outdated and spread across the plant. The new distribution lineup will consist of (2) 12.47KV/1200A sections of switchgear (duty/standby), (2) 12.47KV/4.16KV transformers, and (2) .16KV/1200A sections of switchgear (duty/standby) along with other various pieces of supporting electrical equipment. Dugan & Meyers is the General Contractor for the project and is self-performing 1,700 LF of underground duct bank, 5,900 CY of excavation and backfill, contaminated soil remediation, misc. metals install, and the selective demo of existing electrical gear and 1,800 CY of concrete.
