Located in Louisville, Kentucky, the Hite Creek Water Quality Treatment Center project is on the tail end of its expansion to 9 MGD. Dugan & Meyers self-performed excavation, precast structure, process piping, temporary bypass systems, process equipment installation for the late add work, and the CIP concrete base mat/wall/deck. The final stages include the construction of the third battery of sludge holding tanks and improving the hydraulic function of the nitrate recycle pump station. The project reached substantial completion in September 2021 with completion of the added sludge holding tank scheduled for August 2022.
