The Astor Park Garage project is a 5 Level parking garage in the new Astor Park Development adjacent to Lower.Com Field in Columbus, Ohio. D&M is the General Contractor working directly for the Owner, The City of Columbus. The project broke ground in late December 2021, with foundation work beginning in February and elevated slab work beginning in May, both of this year. The project is currently complete with 5 of 19 elevated slab pours and is on target for a September topping out.

The D&M team has worked closely with the City and their design team on an elaborate exterior metal panel system that will be installed on the exterior of the garage. The system consists of perforated metal panels that transition from a flat panel to a bent panel to give an appearance of movement on the exterior. The material is manufactured in Australia, meaning the D&M team had to be diligent on early coordination and shop drawing approvals to meet the schedule due to increase worldwide freight timeframes.
