The Muldraugh WTP project, located on the Fort Knox, Kentucky Military Base, provides a much-needed upgrade to an existing water treatment facility for Hardin County District No. 1 and the Fort Knox Base by increasing the capacity of the Plant to 7 MGD. Every component of the facility is to be modified in some way including: the aeration basins, two clarifiers, seven media filters, operations/control building, multiple chemical buildings, sedimentation basins, clear wells, high service pump station, new rapid mix/meter vault structures, new bulk chemical area with new high density lime feed system, new hydrated lime feed system and new electrical/I&C systems. D&M is self-performing significant aspects of the project including excavation, demolition, yard piping, concrete, metals, interior pipe, process equipment, and plant start-ups with our own forces.
