The Jeffersonville Downtown WWTP project provides an upgrade to the existing wastewater treatment facilities for the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana. The project will increase the plant’s wet weather capacity from a peak of 10 MGD to 50 MGD.

The project consists of modifications to the existing headworks junction box and effluent flume, new chemically enhanced high rate clarifier system, new UV system and new chemical/electrical buildings at approximately 1,300 LF of 36” and 60” DIP. The project has had multiple challenges with dewatering and deep shoring excavations.  Work is currently scheduled to be substantially complete in mid-summer 2021.
