Johntan was directing his crew from the ground level to an upper deck. His team was preparing to fly a bundle of beams by choking them with a pair of nylon straps. He stopped them and directed them to basket the load because the weight was too close to the strap’s weight capacity while in a choker configuration. He took the time to confirm the average approximate weight of a bundle with the crane operator and double-check what the rigging was rated for. His crew also used a ratchet strap to bundle the load together so it could be picked, flown, and landed in an organized fashion. Great job, Johntan!
