Opportunities

Whether we have a current position available, or foresee a need in the future, we are always seeking qualified applicants in the following categories:

Carpenters

Perform commercial construction carpentry work based on the requirements of the project.

Laborers

Specific duties may include: hand excavating and grading, assisting carpenters in construction and/or removal of forms, placing and vibrating concrete and general site clean-up.

Finishers

Specific duties may include placing and finishing concrete sidewalks, drives, stairs, and curbs; placing and finishing slab on grade and slab on metal deck.

Certified Crane Operators

Operate and provide care and maintenance for cranes including 30 to 70-ton hydraulic cranes, conventional lattice-boom cranes and tower cranes.

Equipment Operators

Equipment operators may be required to operate a variety of machines including bulldozers, backhoes, lulls, loaders, fork lifts and skid steer loaders. Also includes the daily care, maintenance and cleaning as applicable for the equipment operated.

Pipe Fitters

Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing.
Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools.

Project Superintendents

Schedule, coordinate and supervise subcontractors’ and contractors’ field employees, which may involve supervising one or more trades, i.e., laborers, carpenters, etc. May coordinate several foremen in the case of a large-scale self-performance.

Project Engineers

Responsible for all on-site engineering requirements of the Project (except with the on-site presence of a Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing (MEP) Coordinator). With the presence of an MEP coordinator, coordinates with the latter on all project matters. Must maintain familiarity and understanding of the project documents including changes. Acts for and on behalf of the Project Manager in his or her absence.

Project Managers

The Project Manager is the primary representative of Dugan & Meyers Construction Company on each project and is fully responsible for every phase of the project’s operation and completion. He or she provides the overall leadership required and performs in a professional and effective manner.

Field Engineers

Coordinate, plan and direct the line and grade and all other layout required for the accurate completion of the work. Continuously monitor the contract documents and work in progress to assure correctness in all parts of the project.

Estimator

Provide and coordinate full estimating services on large complex work for all types of projects.
Provide assistance to the Chief Estimator and Senior Estimators in the preparation of quantity surveys, pricing and bidding. Coordinate the quantity survey with the unit costs of various components of the work.

Office Administration

Office personnel take on a range of duties to make sure Dugan & Meyers runs smoothly. Jobs can range from: Human Resources, Accounting, IT, Safety, Operations and many more.
